Welgemeend Wedding - Cape Town

The week leading up to Juliet and Steven's wedding was stressful to say the least. We were held up in an armed robbery and the assailants shot at my husband. The whole week was surreal but I was so grateful to have their wedding to look forward to. They were married at the amazing Welgemeend in Cape Town. The venue has an incredible display of hanging wall art and Steven and Juliet's theme contrasted beautifully. I've been incredibly lucky to get to know this family as I photographed Steven's brothers wedding as well as a family shoot.

Juliet was the most amazing amazing bride both on the day and leading up to the big day. Everything was so organized and such a breeze.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Juliet walked up the aisle. This is always a magical moment and I love to watch the Groom's expression. This was no exception, except when Juliet stepped foot on the aisle, the theme song to Star Wars preceded her. It was a perfect moment and the groom loved it! They are the sweetest couple and listening to the speeches you could hear how special these two are.
